Dr. Kimberly Olson: My career journey began with a deep passion for health and wellness, which led me to earn two PhDs in Natural Health and Holistic Nutrition. As I worked in this field, I realized my true calling was not just in helping individuals lead healthier lives but in empowering women to take control of their futures. This shift led me into entrepreneurship, where I saw the vast potential of social media to provide women with the tools they needed to build sustainable, profitable businesses.

In 2018, I founded Goal Digger Girl Co., with the mission to teach female entrepreneurs how to thrive online. What started as a one-woman operation quickly grew into a thriving company that’s helped countless women transform their lives through education, mindset, and action-based strategies. Over the years, the company has surpassed nine million dollars in revenue, which is a testament to the power of helping others achieve success.

My entrepreneurial journey officially began in 2011, but it wasn’t until 2017 that I got serious about social media. At the time, I was frustrated and exhausted. I had been taught to use cold messaging and spamming techniques, which were not only ineffective but also made me feel uncomfortable and inauthentic. In the fall of 2017, I decided to try something different and started going live on Facebook. I launched my first group, and it exploded with engagement. People were reaching out, telling me how simple and easy to implement my strategies were, and they were seeing real results in no time.

That’s when The Goal Digger Girl was born. Since then, I’ve become a self-made millionaire, had the opportunity to stay home with my two daughters, Addison and Elise, and enjoyed travel and downtime with my husband, Scott. I learned the importance of automation and duplication, which has allowed me to spend less time working and more time doing what I love—connecting with others and enjoying life.

On a personal note, my family is my daily source of motivation. My two daughters, Addison and Elise, constantly remind me of the importance of balancing ambition with being fully present. They ground me and inspire me to strive for a life that models strength, compassion, and balance.

What were the most challenging obstacles you’ve encountered in your career?

Dr. Kimberly Olson: One of the most challenging obstacles I’ve encountered has been navigating market shifts, particularly changes in buyer behavior and the impact of longer sales cycles. Adapting to these fluctuations required a strategic approach to ensure our offerings remained relevant and impactful.

Another significant challenge has been making difficult decisions to streamline operations and reduce expenses while maintaining the exceptional level of service our clients expect. Balancing the needs of a growing business with fiscal responsibility is never easy, but it has been essential for sustainable growth.

On a personal level, overcoming self-doubt and finding harmony between my roles as a mother and an entrepreneur have been ongoing challenges. However, these experiences have taught me resilience and strengthened my ability to lead with clarity and confidence. Every obstacle has ultimately shaped me into a stronger, more purposeful leader.
