Monique Pearson

My career journey began with a commitment to service. As a U.S. Army veteran, I learned the values of discipline, resilience, leadership, and adaptability—principles that have guided every stage of my professional and personal life. After completing my military service, I transitioned into the federal government, where I built a successful career spanning more than 25 years in defense and national security. During this time, I worked in highly technical and traditionally male-dominated fields, including ammunition, missile systems, and defense contracting, while serving both in the United States and overseas in Kuwait and Iraq.

Although my professional achievements were rewarding, my greatest transformation came through my personal journey. Overcoming childhood trauma, finding my voice, and learning to embrace my own worth taught me that true success is not defined by titles or accomplishments alone—it is measured by personal growth, purpose, and the positive impact we make in the lives of others.

Driven by that belief, I founded Soaring W/O Limits Enterprises (SWOLE™) in 2021 during the global pandemic. My vision was to help women transform their mindset, overcome self-imposed limitations, and confidently pursue opportunities they once believed were beyond their reach. Through leadership development, mindset coaching, travel experiences, and personal empowerment, I sought to inspire women to live boldly and lead with confidence.

In April 2024, my life took another unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Rather than allowing the diagnosis to define my future, I chose to transform it into a greater purpose by launching the Soaring Beyond the Diagnosis Movement. This initiative was created to empower women living with autoimmune disorders and chronic illnesses, reminding them that a diagnosis is only one chapter of their story—not the conclusion.

Today, my mission remains centered on helping women reclaim their power, embrace resilience, and unlock their limitless potential. Every experience—whether through military service, federal leadership, entrepreneurship, or personal adversity—has strengthened my belief that our greatest challenges often become the foundation for our greatest purpose.

Could You Highlight the Key Offerings?

Through Soaring W/O Limits Enterprises (SWOLE™) and the Soaring Beyond the Diagnosis Movement, we provide transformational programs, communities, and experiences designed to empower individuals personally, professionally, and emotionally.

One of our core initiatives is the Beyond Ladies Patreon Community, a supportive platform dedicated to education, advocacy, empowerment, and connection for women living with autoimmune disorders and chronic illnesses. We also lead the Beyond the Diagnosis Anthology Series, a collection of inspiring stories from women who continue to thrive despite significant health challenges, giving hope and encouragement to others facing similar journeys.

To further expand awareness and collaboration, we host the Annual Soaring Beyond the Diagnosis Conference, bringing together patients, healthcare advocates, wellness experts, and community leaders to share knowledge, resources, and inspiration. Complementing this is our Walk for Wellbeing initiative, which promotes physical activity, self-care, wellness awareness, and community engagement while encouraging participants to prioritize their overall health and well-being.

We also invest in empowering new voices through the Soaring Beyond the Diagnosis Author Search, an annual initiative that identifies and supports aspiring authors interested in sharing their stories in future editions of the anthology series. In addition, the Soaring Beyond the Diagnosis Author Spotlight Series celebrates contributors and community members by amplifying their personal journeys, professional expertise, and stories of resilience while increasing public awareness of autoimmune disorders and chronic illnesses.

Our work also includes Virtual Wellness Workshops for Women with Autoimmune Disorders, covering topics such as self-care, stress management, mental wellness, nutrition, resilience, advocacy, and navigating life beyond a diagnosis. Through carefully curated Travel Experiences and Wellness Retreats, we create opportunities for healing, self-discovery, personal growth, and meaningful connections.

Beyond these initiatives, I regularly deliver keynote speeches, leadership workshops, and empowerment programs focused on resilience, leadership, mindset, women’s empowerment, chronic illness advocacy, and succeeding in traditionally male-dominated industries. Through the Triple E Podcast and other media platforms, we continue to amplify stories of courage, leadership, wellness, and transformation, inspiring audiences worldwide to embrace resilience and live without limits.

What Are Your Long-Term Goals, and Where Do You Envision Yourself in the Coming Years?

Monique Pearson

My long-term vision is to build the Soaring Beyond the Diagnosis Movement into a nationally recognized platform that transforms lives through advocacy, education, storytelling, and community support. My mission is to ensure that no woman facing an autoimmune disorder or chronic illness ever feels alone in her journey and that every diagnosis becomes the beginning of hope rather than the end of possibility.

By 2030, I aim to empower more than 1,000 women living with autoimmune disorders and chronic illnesses through education, mentorship, and supportive community initiatives. I also plan to expand the Beyond the Diagnosis Anthology Series into multiple volumes, sharing diverse voices and inspiring stories of resilience from women around the world.

Another important goal is to grow the Annual Soaring Beyond the Diagnosis Conference into a nationally recognized event that reaches communities across the United States while developing educational resources and support programs that help women confidently navigate life beyond their diagnosis.

I also hope to establish strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations, corporations, and advocacy groups that are committed to advancing health equity, women’s wellness, and patient empowerment. At the same time, I will continue speaking on national and international stages, sharing messages of resilience, leadership, purpose, and personal transformation.

Personally, I see myself continuing to be a voice of hope, courage, and possibility—reminding others that life’s greatest challenges can often become the foundation for our greatest impact. My legacy will not be measured by the obstacles I faced, but by the lives I helped transform and the communities I empowered to soar beyond their limitations.

Who Has Been the Most Significant Source of Inspiration in Your Life?

My greatest source of inspiration has always been the resilient women who have faced extraordinary challenges and chosen to rise above them. Every day, I am inspired by the women in our Soaring Beyond the Diagnosis community who choose courage over fear, hope over despair, and purpose over limitation despite the obstacles they encounter. Their strength reminds me that resilience is not about avoiding adversity—it is about moving forward with faith and determination.

My faith has also been a constant source of strength throughout my life’s most difficult seasons. It has sustained me through personal challenges and continually reminded me that our greatest trials often prepare us for an even greater purpose.

In addition, my military service and the mentors I encountered throughout my federal career have profoundly shaped my leadership style. They taught me the importance of discipline, integrity, service, and leading with compassion. Combined with my own journey of healing and personal transformation, these experiences have reinforced one powerful belief: our circumstances do not determine our destiny. Instead, it is our response to life’s challenges that defines who we become and the impact we leave on others.

What Were the Most Challenging Obstacles You’ve Encountered in Your Career?

One of the greatest challenges I faced was learning to believe in myself and confidently use my voice. For many years, I struggled with self-doubt, fear, and the lasting effects of childhood trauma. As a woman working in traditionally male-dominated industries, I often found myself having to prove my capabilities while overcoming barriers that tested both my confidence and leadership.

Another defining moment came in April 2024, when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Receiving a life-changing diagnosis forced me to confront uncertainty, fear, and questions about the future. While it would have been easy to focus on limitations, I chose instead to transform that experience into purpose by creating the Soaring Beyond the Diagnosis Movement, dedicated to empowering women facing autoimmune disorders and chronic illnesses.

Building Soaring W/O Limits Enterprises (SWOLE™) while maintaining a demanding federal career also required tremendous perseverance, discipline, and sacrifice. Like many entrepreneurs, I experienced setbacks, failed initiatives, and moments of uncertainty. Yet each challenge strengthened my resilience and reinforced a lesson I now share with others: success is not determined by the absence of obstacles, but by the courage to keep moving forward despite them.

Today, I view every challenge as an opportunity for growth. Those experiences continue to fuel my mission of helping others rise above fear, embrace resilience, and soar beyond their limitations to live lives filled with purpose, impact, and possibility.
