Edition Name – Global Healthcare, AI & Innovation Leaders Shaping the Future – 2026

In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare ecosystem, groundbreaking innovation alone is no longer enough to guarantee commercial success. The true differentiator lies in an organization’s ability to transform promising technologies into widely adopted solutions that deliver measurable value for patients, providers, and healthcare systems. As markets become increasingly competitive and investment in MedTech, Digital Health, Artificial Intelligence, and BioPharma continues to accelerate, companies require commercial leaders who understand not only how to launch innovative products but also how to create sustainable market demand and long-term business growth.

Among those leading this transformation is Craig T. Ingram, an accomplished healthcare commercialization executive whose career has been dedicated to helping startups and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) overcome one of the industry’s greatest challenges, turning innovation into customer adoption and customer adoption into sustainable revenue. With nearly three decades of experience spanning medical devices, digital health technologies, commercial strategy, sales leadership, and go-to-market execution, Craig has established himself as one of the healthcare industry’s most respected authorities on commercialization effectiveness and revenue acceleration.

Throughout his distinguished career, Craig has successfully guided venture capital-backed startups, family office-funded companies, and emerging healthcare businesses from early-stage development to multi-million-dollar commercial success. Having contributed to multiple successful business exits, he possesses a unique understanding of what it takes to build commercial organizations capable of scaling in highly regulated, complex healthcare markets. His expertise extends across every stage of the commercialization journey from market positioning and customer acquisition to adoption, retention, and long-term market expansion.

Craig’s leadership journey is distinguished by its breadth of experience. From entrepreneurial ventures in medical distribution to commercial mid-level leadership within a Fortune 500 company and executive leadership in high-growth venture-backed startups, he has consistently demonstrated an ability to bridge-the-gap between innovation and commercial performance. This diverse background enables him to combine the uncommon strategic discipline of large enterprises with the agility, speed, and execution required for emerging small businesses seeking rapid growth.

Central to Craig’s philosophy is his belief that most healthcare innovations fail not because they lack clinical value, but because the market has not been properly prepared to embrace them. Recognizing that buyers’ resistance remains one of the greatest barriers to effective commercial strategy implementation, he developed a proprietary five-part Commercialization Effectiveness Framework centered on Awareness, Attention, Attraction, Adoption, and Retention. Refined through years of real-world application, this framework enables organizations to reduce market friction, improve prospect-to-customer conversion, accelerate customer adoption, and establish sustainable competitive advantage in crowded and highly competitive healthcare markets.

Craig’s expertise spans an extensive range of medical specialties, including otolaryngology, urology, gynecology, surgical oncology, orthopedic spine, thoracic, colon-rectal, radiation oncology, organ transplantation, breast health, and electrophysiology. His ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare environments while developing practical, results-oriented commercialization strategies has made him a trusted advisor to founders, institutional investors, executive teams, and commercial leaders seeking to maximize both market impact and business performance.

Beyond his executive leadership, Craig is a recognized keynote speaker, thought leader, and industry educator who actively shares his insights on healthcare commercialization, digital health innovation, startup growth, revenue strategy, and commercial transformation. His practical, data-driven approach continues to influence small and medium size organizations striving to achieve meaningful customer adoption while building scalable, sustainable businesses.

As healthcare continues to embrace technological innovation and digital transformation, Craig T. Ingram stands at the forefront of commercial leadership; helping visionary companies overcome market entry barriers, accelerate growth, and transform breakthrough innovations into lasting commercial success. Through his expertise, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to commercialization excellence, he continues to shape the future of MedTech and HealthTech by enabling organizations to achieve stronger market traction, higher customer adoption, and enduring business value.

Please share the beginning of your career journey with us.

Craig T. Ingram

My journey into the medical device and healthcare technology industry began much earlier than most of my peers. While I was still attending university, I founded a medical distribution company that supplied medical devices and diagnostic equipment to physician practices, multidisciplinary clinics, and hospitals, mostly Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. That experience immersed me in the realities of healthcare commercialization from the very beginning, providing invaluable front-line exposure to sales, customer engagement, and market development.

From the outset, I combined curiosity, resilience, and a strong willingness to learn with a practical understanding of both the clinical and commercial sides of healthcare. My academic foundation; which includes an Associate’s Degree in Bioelectric Technology and Molecular Cell Physiology, followed by degrees in Marketing and an MBA in International/Global Management gave me the technical and business knowledge needed to bridge innovation with market success.

That entrepreneurial experience opened the door to an almost decade-long career with Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson company, where I refined my expertise in medical technology sales, commercial leadership, and people management as a middle manager. Working within a Fortune 500 organization provided world-class training and exposed me to sophisticated commercialization strategies, leadership development, and the operational discipline required to scale healthcare technologies successfully.

Building on that foundation, I transitioned into venture-backed startups, including SurgRx, Suture Ease, Patton Surgical, and Minerva Surgical, where I played key leadership roles in commercialization, sales strategy, market expansion and a turnaround situation. These experiences reinforced my passion for helping innovative healthcare companies overcome common commercialization challenges and achieve meaningful customer adoption.

In 2020, I founded Int’l Commercialization Growth Partners with a clear mission: to help venture capital-backed startups, family office-funded companies, and small-to-medium enterprises avoid the common pitfalls of ineffective commercialization and poorly executed market entry strategies. Drawing on nearly three decades of hands-on experience across medical devices and digital healthcare technologies, I now work with companies to transform breakthrough innovations into sustainable commercial success through practical, proven, yet abnormal go-to-market strategies and customer adoption frameworks.

Could you highlight the key offerings of International Commercialization Growth Partners?

At Int’l Commercialization Growth Partners, my mission is to help venture capital-backed startups, family office-funded companies, and established small-to-medium enterprises accelerate commercialization, improve market adoption, and build sustainable revenue growth. Every service we offer is designed to bridge-the-gap between innovation and commercial success.

The Bridge Connection™ – Fractional Executive Leadership
We provide experienced fractional executive leadership, serving as a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), or Chief Sales Officer (CSO). This enables organizations to access senior-level strategic expertise without the high salary of a full-time executive, helping them establish strong commercial foundations while accelerating growth.

The Bridge Audit™ – Commercial Strategy & Tactical Assessment
The Bridge Audit™ is a comprehensive diagnostic process and tool, that evaluates an organization’s commercialization capabilities. We identify the critical gaps (Kryptonite as we call it) affecting market entry, customer acquisition, customer adoption, revenue growth, and client retention. More importantly, we develop targeted, high-impact recommendations that address the root causes limiting commercial effectiveness and sustainable business performance.

The Bridge Strategy Blueprint™ – Commercial Strategy & Go-to-Market Advisory
Successful commercialization requires more than a great product; it requires a clear, executable strategy with Key Performance Activities (KPAs). Through The Bridge Strategy Blueprint™, we partner with leadership teams to develop robust commercialization strategies, refine market positioning, optimize go-to-market execution, and create scalable frameworks that drive customer adoption, competitive differentiation, and long-term revenue growth.

By creating comprehensive commercialization and go-to-market plans, we enable founders to present investors with a credible growth strategy, improving their ability to secure institutional funding and successfully scale their businesses.

Together, these solutions provide organizations with the strategic leadership, commercial expertise, and execution framework needed to transform innovative healthcare technologies into successful, market-leading businesses.

What are your long-term goals, and where do you envision yourself in the coming years?

My long-term goal is to significantly reduce the high failure rate of MedTech and HealthTech startups and small-to-medium-sized companies by helping them build stronger, more effective commercialization foundations. Too many groundbreaking innovations fail—not because they lack clinical value or technological excellence—but because they struggle to achieve meaningful customer adoption and sustainable market traction. I want to change that by embedding proven, repeatable, and differentiated commercialization strategies that enable organizations to grow with greater confidence and consistency.

One of my key priorities is the publication of my upcoming book, which introduces a new commercialization blueprint designed specifically for today’s healthcare marketplace. The framework reflects the profound changes in customer and buyer behavior that have emerged since the 2020 pandemic and provides founders, executives, investors, and commercial leaders with a practical playbook for succeeding in a fundamentally transformed B2B buying environment.

Looking ahead, I see myself continuing to partner with venture capital firms, family offices, startup founders, and executive leadership teams around the world, helping innovative healthcare companies accelerate customer adoption, strengthen market positioning, and build sustainable revenue growth. Beyond consulting, I also hope to expand my impact through keynote speaking, thought leadership, executive education, and mentoring the next generation of commercialization leaders.

Ultimately, my ambition is to leave behind more than successful companies,I want to leave a lasting legacy by reshaping how healthcare innovation is commercialized globally, enabling more life-changing technologies to reach the patients, clinicians, and healthcare systems that need them most.

Who has been the most significant source of inspiration in your life?

Without question, the greatest source of inspiration in my life has been the Bible. It has provided the moral and ethical foundation that guides both my personal life and my professional journey. It continually reminds me to lead with integrity, humility, and accountability, striving to be someone who remains above reproach, even when I make mistakes. In business, there are always moments when pressure is high and difficult decisions must be made, but my faith has helped me stay grounded and never compromise my values, character, or principles simply for financial gain.

Beyond my faith, I have made a lifelong commitment to investing in my own growth. Over the past two decades, I have had the privilege of learning from some of the world’s most accomplished serial entrepreneurs and ultra-high-net-worth business coaches; individuals who have built extraordinary businesses from the ground up across a wide range of industries. Many of them began with very little and went on to create eight-figure, nine-figure, and even billion-dollar enterprises.

What inspires me most about these leaders is not simply their financial success, but the resilience, discipline, and perseverance they demonstrated throughout their journeys. Their real-world experiences, hard-earned lessons, and willingness to share both their successes and failures have profoundly shaped my thinking on strategy, leadership, execution, and long-term business growth.

While I am proud of my academic achievements, including earning an MBA, I believe most of my valuable education has come from learning directly from individuals who have built exceptional businesses through experience. Their coaching, combined with the foundational principles I draw from my faith, continues to influence how I lead, serve clients, and pursue excellence every day.

Please list some of the notable recognitions and accreditations that you and your organization have received.

I have always believed that the greatest recognition comes from helping companies achieve meaningful commercial success. That said, I am deeply honored to have received several awards and professional distinctions that acknowledge my contributions to the MedTech, BioPharma, and Digital Health industries over the past two decades.

One of my most meaningful recognitions was being named Top MedTech and HealthTech Advisor of the Year 2024 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). This award recognizes leadership, innovation, and a commitment to advancing healthcare technologies, particularly through my work helping venture-backed startups improve commercialization effectiveness, customer adoption, hospital account acquisition, and sustainable business growth.

I was also honored to be recognized by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) as one of the Top 50 Fearless Leaders for 2025. This prestigious distinction is awarded to only fifty professionals worldwide who demonstrate exceptional vision, resilience, and lasting impact within their industries. As part of this recognition, I was featured in IAOTP’s Top 50 Fearless Leaders – 2025 publication alongside other accomplished global leaders.

Another professional milestone was my inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who in America, recognizing my career achievements and contributions to healthcare commercialization and business leadership alongside distinguished professionals across the United States.

Throughout my corporate career, I was also privileged to receive several performance-based leadership awards. These include Region of the Year and Regional Sales Director of the Year in 2012 and 2013 for outstanding commercial leadership at Microline Surgical. Later, while serving as Area Sales Director at Minerva Surgical, I had the satisfaction of mentoring high-performing sales professionals, with two team members qualifying for the company’s Rookie of the Year recognition and one ultimately earning the prestigious Rookie of the Year Award in 2019.

I am equally proud of the recognition earned by Int’l Commercialization Growth Partners, which has established itself as a boutique consultancy specializing in commercialization strategy for venture capital-backed startups and small-to-medium enterprises. The firm has been recognized for helping innovative healthcare companies strengthen go-to-market strategies, accelerate customer adoption, improve revenue performance, and build sustainable commercial growth.

Most recently, Int’l Commercialization Growth Partners received the Stellar Business Award 2025 for Excellence in Healthcare & Medical Technology Consulting (United States). This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to helping healthcare innovators successfully commercialize breakthrough technologies while creating long-term value for investors, healthcare providers, and the patients they ultimately serve.

While I am grateful for these honors, I view them as milestones rather than destinations. My greatest professional satisfaction continues to come from seeing innovative healthcare companies overcome commercialization challenges, achieve meaningful market adoption, and ultimately improve healthcare outcomes around the world.
